The new spaces of L’Antic Colonial

To celebrate the twentieth edition of the International Global Architecture Exhibition of the Porcelanosa Group, which will be held at the end of January 2013, L’Antic Colonial has already begun work on remodelling its showroom, with the aim of adapting the space to the company’s latest products.

An important part of this change will be seen in the “signature spaces,” an initiative set underway a year ago by L’Antic Colonial that consists of inviting 5 renowned architecture and interior design studios from all over the world to bring their personal touch to the company’s natural materials. These 5 spaces, each measuring25 m²have been used for the hotel suite created by Manuel Torres, called “Fine Material,” a working space created by Fran Silvestre, a bathroom inspired by Arab mashrabiya designed by Culdesac, the indoor/outdoor living room called “Living Textures” designed by Estudi{H}ac, and the “Spirit” space in which architecture studio A-cero and L’Antic Colonial presented the collection of wall and floor coverings and complementary bathroom products created by both companies.

These spaces will give way to six new authors – one more for 2013 – who will bring their personal styles to life using products from L’Antic Colonial. At present we can inform you that these new collaborations with L’Antic Colonial will involve famous names such as Colección Alexandra, Wilson Associates, Tomás Alía, Clodagh, Héctor Ruiz and the A-cero studio, which will be returning to present the latest designs that complete the Spirit collection.

Six new proposals with which L’Antic Colonial will be reaffirming its firm commitment to design and interior decoration.
