DESCRIPTION OF STUDIO
The ability to strike the perfect balance between classic and modern has put Eric Kuster’s name on the international interior design map for almost two decades. His collections of fabric, furniture and interior spaces reach beyond his native Holland and his “Metropolitan Luxury”, being renowned on a worldwide scale for embracing glamour, comfort and sophistication.
Eric Kuster began his professional career as a creative and sales director for Chivasso, a Dutch textile manufacturer. His keen eye for colour and passion for nature’s shades and nuances led him to open up his own up-market furniture, lighting and fabric store, which quickly became an authentic lifestyle shop.
The Eric Kuster brand has become an interior design firm with its own personal style, capable of giving solutions to private and corporate clients all over the world. This multidisciplinary team is prepared to create and design homes, restaurants, hotels, boats, airplanes…and has also collaborated with companies such as Samsung TV, DNA home or Metro Sneakers.
Some of the most luxurious homes in Marbella, Dubai, Moscow and Bali, as well as major projects such as the exclusive Jimmy Woo club in Amsterdam or some areas in F.C. Barcelona’s Camp Nou form part of the firm’s portfolio.
Among the “celebrities” who have committed to his style are musicians such as David Guetta and Alicia Keys and footballers such as Zinedine Zidane, Samuel Eto’o and Johan Cruyff.
NAME OF EXHIBITION SPACE
DEFINITION OF EXHIBITION SPACE
Eric Kuster’s signature space for L’Antic Colonial was inspired by modern architecture. The area is defined through the play with volumes and textures which are exposed on the space’s lateral walls as three-dimensional blocks.
A shower tray in the main area connected to a small pond transmits the feeling of fullness and positivism to the box.
Eric Kuster’s passion for textile design is reflected in a space where the blend of different materials shows the wide array of possibilities and contrasts of L’Antic Colonial products.
This space is marked by Eric Kuster’s characteristic “Metropolitan Luxury”, which is perceived in the exclusivity and luxury of his design.
